Some places feel like they were built for exactly one purpose. Villa Corsini, sitting on the very first rolling hills of Chianti just outside Florence, is one of them. A villa of history and art, made to receive guests, with views that stretch far over the Tuscan countryside. For Amanda and Michael, who traveled all the way from New York, it was the perfect stage for their wedding day.

A Day That Felt Like Family

What stayed with me most from this wedding was not one single image, but a feeling: the sense of community that ran through the entire day. Amanda and Michael's guests didn't feel like an audience, they felt like one big family. People who genuinely wanted to be there, together, in this one place, for these two people. You could see it in every embrace, every toast, every shared laugh under the Tuscan sky.

The Day

The morning began quietly, with both of them getting ready around midday inside the villa. There is always something special about these hours, the calm before everything begins, the small rituals, the last deep breaths.

In the afternoon, Amanda and Michael exchanged their vows in front of everyone they love. Afterwards, the evening opened up slowly: drinks in the golden light, time together, no rush, no schedule pressing anyone forward.

As the sun went down, they shared their first dance, followed by dinner and a party that carried everyone deep into the night. The kind of evening where nobody looks at the clock.
