Let's be clear
What do you offer?
I offer full-day photography and videography, starting from 8 hours of coverage. Depending on your vision, we can work with digital, 35mm film, Super 8 and drone, or any combination of these. I take on a limited number of weddings per year intentionally. Your day gets the full focus it deserves.
When do we receive the images and film?
Your gallery of at least 600 edited images arrives within 4 to 5 weeks.
What languages do you speak?
I work in English and German. For international couples, all communication, contracts and calls can be handled fully in English from start to finish.
Can we book video only, without photography?
Both is possible. If you combine photography and film, you will receive a highlight film of around three minutes that captures the feeling of your day as one coherent story. If you prefer to book only one or the other, that works too. And if your day calls for a larger team to cover both in full, I can put that together for you as well.
Do you have a backup plan?
Yes. After eight years this work has taught me to be prepared for everything. Equipment is backed up, and my network of trusted photographers and filmmakers means that even in the unlikely case of an emergency, your day is covered. You will not be left without documentation.
What is your approach on the day?
Quiet, observant, prepared. I am not there to direct your day but to read it. I will guide you gently when it helps and disappear completely when the moment is stronger without me.
Why so much black and white?
Black and white removes distraction and gets to the feeling faster. That said, everything is available in color. Just tell me what resonates with you.
Can we see full galleries before booking?
Absolutely. Send me a message and I will share full client galleries so you get an honest picture of what to expect, not just the highlights.
How far in advance should we reach out?
Popular weekends book fast, sometimes 12 to 18 months ahead. For destination weddings during high season, I recommend reaching out as early as possible. I do not hold dates without a confirmed booking and deposit, so the earlier we talk, the better.
Will you be there personally?
Always. I will be there myself on your wedding day. For larger productions where full parallel coverage makes sense, I bring in trusted collaborators I have worked with closely over the years. The visual approach and the level of care stay the same regardless.
How long have you been doing this?
I have been a photographer for over ten years. Weddings have been part of my work for eight of them. Long enough to know how a day breathes, where it shifts, and when to simply trust the moment.
Do you shoot on film?
Yes. 35mm and Super 8 are available as additions to any booking. There is something about analog that no digital preset can fully replicate.
How does booking work?
We start with a call. I want to understand your plans, your priorities and what kind of day you are creating. If it feels like a good fit, we confirm your date with a retainer and take it from there.
Do you travel?
Completely. I am based in Germany but work across Europe and beyond. Whether you are planning something in Tuscany, on the coast of Croatia or somewhere further out, I am in. Travel is part of what I do.
